The employees of Azerbaijan Ornithological Society with active members and students held expeditions for winter counts at Redlake, Shelf Factory and Alat settlement on 25.01.08, at Pirallahy settlement on 27.01.08 and at the Lake Hadjikabul on 05.02.08.

During the expeditions the information about count methods of birds and the usage rules of optician apparatuses was given to our new members and birds counts was implemented with their participation.

The schoolchildren also took part at the expedition organized to Lake Hadjikabul with students on 5th of February. The information about Lake Hadjikabul, its importance and the organic world was given to participants of the expedition. The birds were observed and counted by participation of the schoolchildren.

The different interesting ecological games have been hold with schoolchildren.
